About us:

Troy was born and raised in south Texas and is native to the San Antonio area, Cheryl was born and raised in Canada and made her way to Texas through our hospital system as a Registered nurse.  Planning only to stay a few years she met a crazy Texas man who wouldn’t let her leave. They were married in June of 1995 and have 3 boys, Jarrett, Jordan and Joshua.

Troy is a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God. His call to Student Ministries is a passion that has kept him in ministry for more than 12 years now!

As the College and Career Pastor he looks forward to helping students become active citizens of the Kingdom and not only space takers of this thing called life. Together they can’t wait to see what new and exciting things God has planned for them and the lives of the students who attend ETHOS College and Career Ministry. 

Interests and Hobbies:

Troy enjoys family, fishing, mountain biking, basketball, just about anything to do with water, as well as just hanging out with friends and hearing about what’s going on in their lives. Cheryl is an avid shopper but loves spending time with her family, camping, many other outdoor activities, as well as curling up with a good book.

The scripture that keeps Troy striving for more in the ministry is Jer.29:11-14 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.  “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.  I will be found by you,” says the Lord.
